Focusing on the ecological restoration of natural environments, this profile introduces the regulatory framework of the EU Nature Restoration Law. ​The content addresses restoration measures and techniques for different ecosystems, including forests, wetlands, grasslands and marine environments. ​The course also offers an overview of the national restoration plans and the technical and scientific aspects necessary to restore priority habitats and species to a favourable conservation status.


Natura 2000 Coaches

This profile offers a technical introduction to the management of Natura 2000 Network sites and the implementation of environmental directives. The course addresses key issues such as monitoring protocols, conservation status reporting and the development of management plans. Participants will explore site-specific conservation measures and strategies, targeting protected habitats and species in the different European biogeographical regions, gaining a solid overview of the technical skills needed for effective site management.


Natura 2000 Rangers

This profile concerns the surveillance and control activities of the Natura 2000 Network sites, with particular attention to the legal and administrative aspects related to the application of the regulations. The course explores the framework of European regulations, the management of invasive alien species and the use of technological approaches for monitoring, such as drones and geospatial tools. Participants will also gain knowledge of the main illegal activities in protected areas and the fundamental role of involving local communities in environmental protection actions.
